Did you know initially denim bottoms aka jeans were made for cow boys and miners? that’s because of how hard wearing and functional they were.

In the 60’s they became a fashion item an since then jeans have been the official casual & weekend go to piece and a forever wardrobe staple. So the question begs,  can you wear jeans to something more formal? To the office? For a meeting? am here to say of course yes.

These 3 tips will add the “Smart” to your smart casual jeans outfit.

1. Tuck in and belt up. The difference between a tucked and untucked top is like night and day. By tucking in and adding a belt you Instantly look more put together and less scruffy.
2. Throw on a blazer. Nothing says official like a good structured blazer. You could have on ripped jeans and no one even would notice.
3. Elevate, exchange the flats with some heels, they don’t need to be 6 inches, a kitten heel will do. Just a little height makes all the difference plus everything is better with heels on
