The holidays are here! This is a time when we log off, kick back and relax, a time to spend some QT with our families and friends and even go away on a well-deserved vacation.
As a moms – (especially if you have a toddler) we don’t get to rest on these holidays as much as we would like to. That’s why I make it my mission to find establishments that cater to my family’s needs, this includes nanny service, a kids cub or kid activities, cribs, special meals for my little one and so on whether we are in the beach or bush.
Here are my top 4 picks for hotels that have left a positive lasting impression on me and my family and we will defiantly be going back.
Located in a private Ranch in Nanyuki – 3.5 hours from Nairobi this place is a gem. The rooms are built magnificently with glass walls and you see the sun rise daily. They have complimentary nanny service, lawns for you kids to roll around on, horse back riding, game drives, the list is endless! A must visit if you haven’t
Four words – Luxury in the wild. Let Maasai mara capture your heart. The guides and drivers are so friendly and help the kids know about wildlife and conservation. Nanny service on request as you enjoy a massage under a cool tent listening to Mara river flow.
We visited last Christmas for a couple of days. The villa we stayed in had 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette – perfect because I could cook my baby porridge & food. The kids club was the best, my babies made art & crafts and on xmas day santa gave each of them gifts. They charge for nanny service which was fine as I enjoyed sleeping in.
Another family friendly haven at the coast. They scored points as soon as they upgraded us to a sea view suit upon arrival. Met the chef who prepared separate meals for my baby perfectly and on time. I highly recommend them.
My outfit on this post is a beach ready floral dress from The Geek Boutique for kshs 2,800/- only. Check out the Facebook & Instagram page for the newly unpacked stock.
